How to clean your face
Step 1: Remove Makeup
- Use a gentle makeup remover to dissolve and remove makeup, sunscreen, and impurities.
- Gently massage the remover onto your face, then rinse with lukewarm water.
Step 2: Wash Your Face
- Use a mild cleanser suitable for your skin type (normal, dry, oily, or combination).
- Apply a small amount to your damp face, massaging in a circular motion.
- Focus on areas with blackheads or whiteheads.
Step 3: Rinse Thoroughly
- Rinse your face with lukewarm water, making sure to remove all cleanser residue.
- Pat dry with a clean towel (don't rub, as this can irritate your skin).
Step 4: Exfoliate (optional)
- 1-2 times a week, use a gentle exfoliant (chemical or physical) to remove dead skin cells.
- Follow the product's instructions and be gentle.
Step 5: Tone (optional)
- Apply a toner to help balance your skin's pH, tighten pores, and prepare for further products.
- Soak a cotton pad and sweep it across your face, avoiding the delicate skin around your eyes.
Step 6: Moisturize
- Apply a moisturizer suitable for your skin type to lock in hydration and protect your skin.
- Gently massage it into your face and neck.
Remember:
- Be gentle and patient when cleaning your face.
- Use lukewarm water, as hot water can strip your skin of its natural oils.
- Avoid over-washing, as this can lead to dryness and irritation.
- Stay consistent with your skincare routine for optimal results.
